Our Society & History
The "Principe Di Piemonte" was founded by a group of Italian men in 1909.
Since it's founding, this fraternal organization has continued to grow and currently has over 500 + members.
In 1975 the Society's Vision of a gathering place for the citizens of Thunder Bay and its members was achieved with the opening of the DaVinci Centre.
The object of the Society was to promote and maintain good fellowship and the highest level of citizenship among its member's.
Over the past 30+ years, the DaVinci Centre in Thunder Bay has hosted many memorable events for the citizens of Thunder Bay.
The success of the DaVinci Centre can be directly attributed to its outstanding reputation of fine food, great service, outstanding banquet facilities and customized catering services.

Membership
Men's Membership - Principe Di Piemonte Societa Italiana
Regular Membership in the Society is available by application to any male person, of Italian birth or extraction (parental or maternal), from the date of his eighteenth (18) birthday.
Associate Membership in the Society is open to:
- any male who married a women of Italian percentage.
- any son of a woman of Italian parentage who is married to non-Italian may become associate members of this Society.
He will be entitled to all rights and benefits of regular membership, but he is excluded from holding office.
Club Membership is available by application and is subject to the approval of the Membership Committee, the Executive Council and the General Assembly. This membership is limited to the use of the Club facilities and other privileges as deemed appropriate by the Executive Council and General Assembly. Club members are excluded from voting and holding office.
